La Chaîne des Rôtisseurs is an international gastronomic society founded
in Paris in 1950. We are devoted to promoting fine dining & preserving the
camaraderie & pleasures of the table. The
“Chaine” (pronounced shen) unites professional & amateur gastronomes in a private, not-for-profit society.
We are committed to promoting the culinary arts & enology through example, education, & camaraderie. We also encourage the development of young professionals by awarding scholarships & sponsoring
competitions. Friendships are fostered around the world, thus creating a global Chaine family!
The Chaîne has members
in over 80 countries. Local members may share in other chapters' activities on a Regional, National, or International level. In the U.S., there are approximately
6,000 members in almost 125 Bailliages across the country. Membership is by invitation. If interested in joining, please reach out to us!
Chaîne brings together professionals (chefs, restaurateurs, hotel owners/ managers) & non-professional
members from around the world, who share in the "spirit" of our Society. This association, dedicated to fine cuisine
& wine, is devoted to promoting & developing gastronomic values while focusing on ‘table art’. La Chaîne offers the
ultimate opportunity to meet people who share a common interest in fine dining & great fellowship.
