Société Mondiale du Vin

Société Mondiale du Vin is the Chaîne's
wine-affiliate organization with an
appreciation of wine & crafted beverages.

History

1963: L'Ordre Mondial Gourmets Dégustateurs was founded in Paris

(under the patronage of the La Chaîne des Rôtisseurs)

1980: L'Ordre arrived in the United States

1992: L'Ordre awakened with vitality and a song.

2005: L'Ordre's name was changed to Societe Mondiale du Vin

Mondiale Today

There are over 2000 Mondiale members in the US, more than anywhere in the world
Events are focused on wine, with food playing an important, but supporting role
Mondiale events are punctuated with song
Our events are inspired by the music of The Boars Head Carol
Lyrics are composed by the guests at the table while they dine
Guests sing songs for all to enjoy, creating an entertaining atmosphere!

Mondiale encourages the collection & dissemination of information on wines & quality spirits, as well as the enjoyment & appreciation of fine beverages.

Only Mondiale members are invited to attend Mondiale events.

Chaine members with a joie de vivre & a special interest in wines & crafted beverages, are welcome to join Societe Mondiale du Vin.
